PETA Exploits Brutal Murder

In many ways, I would consider myself an animal rights activist. Although, I would like to say, that PETA does not speak for me. Not by a long shot. This is the first time I have ever spoken out against PETA in a public way, but I can no longer keep my mouth shut. The latest issue I have with PETA, is their heartless attempt to capitalize upon a brutal murder. Here is that ad:
Some of you may have read about the horrifying murder on a Greyhound bus in Manitoba, Canada. One of the passengers stabbed a man 50 or 60 times, and decapitated him. I can only imagine the extreme pain and sorrow that the victim's family is going through. It really hurts to even think about, if that happened to a member of my family, I don't know if I could ever recover. In a disgusting exploitation of this horrible crime, PETA creates an ad stating, "Manitoba. An innocent young victim's throat is cut...His struggles and cries are ignored. The man with the knife shows no emotion...The victim is slaughtered and his head cut of...His flesh is eaten. It still goes on!" Where is your compassion PETA? Oh I forgot, this victim's family is merely human, so they do not deserve any.

This is not the only incident, but a string of things that make you go hmmm. I visited the PETA forum, and I have never seen such weeping self righteousness in all my life. Many of them seem to believe, that either you are a vegetarian, or an evil sadistic animal killer. To clear things up, my mommy is a vegetarian, but I am not. Dogs instinctively want to eat meat. Put a broccoli stalk and a bone in front of me, guess which one I am going for? Right or wrong, at some point, it was decided that I rank higher than a chicken. In a perfect world, no one should need to eat meat, unfortunately it's not a perfect world.

In the meantime, PETA is using pornstars and cleavage to sell vegetarianism. To objectify women does not seem to be a concern for PETA either. After all, how can anyone have empathy for the suffering of animals in factory farms, unless they are looking at a semi-nude photos of Jenna Jameson? They bring about as much class to the animal rights movement, as the relative that gets falling down drunk, at every family reunion.
