Barney the First Dog Stands by President Bush

That demoncrat Nancy Pelosi has been in the news lately, on CNN, the Washington Post and every major news outlet calling President Bush a total failure. Pelosi stated, "Well, you know, God bless him, bless his heart, the president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject, and for him to be challenging Congress when we are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again." I think Nancy Pelosi is the one losing credibility due to her absolute lack of professionalism. She is good at pointing the finger of blame, yet, can you think of even one positive thing she has done for America? Me either.

It is a good thing President Bush has dogs, he could use some support at a time like this. Nancy Pelosi, I wouldn't expect you to understand, but as long as your dog still loves you, it is impossible to be a "total failure." Dogs could care less about polls, or public opinion. Your dog will love you, and stand by you all the way! Whether you like President Bush or not, you have to respect our first dog, Barney. According to WhiteHouse.gov,

Barney is a much-loved First Family member. Barney loves to play with his soccer ball, his golf ball and most recently has become a fan of playing horseshoes. There are numerous web sites across the Internet devoted to Barney. He has also starred in several "films" available on the White House web site including Barney Cam I (2002), Barney and Spot's Winter Wonderland (2003), Barney Cam II (2003), Where in the White House is Miss Beazley? (Barney Cam III, 2004), Barney has found Miss Beazley (2005), Barney and Miss Beazley's Spring Garden Tour (2005), A Very Beazley Christmas (Barney Cam IV, 2005), and Barney's Holiday Extravaganza (Barney Cam V, 2006), and My Barney Valentine (2007).

Loyalty Day ~ Not just for dogs

President Bush has just announced a new national holiday, which will be called Loyalty Day. Most dogs are already celebrating this day, every day of the year. Strange to say, but I wonder if he remembered his late dog "Spot" as he wrote this new proclamation. When I think of loyalty, the first thing I think of is a dog. Some will celebrate their day of loyalty on may 1st of every year, dogs will continue to celebrate every day. Here is a copy of the proclamation:

Loyalty Day, 2008

A Proclamation by the President of the United States of America

Americans believe that every man, woman, and child has unalienable rights, dignity, and matchless value. Advancing these ideals was the honorable vision of our Founders and the mission that helped shape this great country. On Loyalty Day, we celebrate the legacy of freedom and the shared ideals that bind us together.

Our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen demonstrate their love of country by stepping forward when America needs them most. By putting our country's security before their own, the men and women of the Armed Forces have strengthened our Nation and brought hope to millions around the world. All Americans are grateful to the members of the military and their families for their service, sacrifice, and dedication, and we are proud of their accomplishments.

Through their good works, our Nation's volunteers bear witness to their steadfast love for America, as exemplified in their commitment to service and good citizenship. Loyalty to this country brings with it a commitment to aid our family, friends, and fellow citizens all across this broad and welcoming land. These volunteers demonstrate their gratitude for the blessings of freedom by helping build a more hopeful future for our children and grandchildren. All Americans can put their loyalty into practice by learning more about the history of our country, flying the American flag, and contributing to our communities.

Two hundred and thirty-two years after the founding of our country, we remain committed to advancing freedom and renewing the values that sustain our liberty. Through the spirit and determination of our people, our Nation will prosper and our liberty will be secure.

The Congress, by Public Law 85-529, as amended, has designated May 1 of each year as "Loyalty Day." This Loyalty Day, and throughout the year, I ask all Americans to join me in reaffirming our allegiance to our Nation.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim May 1, 2008, as Loyalty Day. I call upon all people of the United States to join in support of this national observance and to display the flag of the United States on Loyalty Day as a symbol of pride in our Nation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-second day of April, in the year of our Lord two thousand eight, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-second.

CoCo the Dog For President of the United States

What America needs is a dog in the White House. The leader of a dog pack will never send out armies of dog's. The regular dog citizens would just spend their days smelling eachother, eating beggin strips and taking long naps. If the leader dog's disagreed with eachother, they would sort it out amongst themselves.

For example, President Bush is at a UN meeting, and President Putin rolls his eyes again in disgust. Either President Bush could ignore Putin or take the challenge head on, pinning Putin on the ground until he lies on his back in submission. This may sound unseemly at an international meeting, but is very effective in establishing dominance among world leaders.

Dogs do not have wars, they have 1-5 minute fights of the leaders. Please elect me as the next President of the United States! All I ask is that you do not stare into me eyes, and understand that I get to eat first. Thank you.
